I returned to WOMAD again this year on assignment for the Total Guide team. The festival welcomed over 120 performers from 53 countries with over 35,000 festivalgoers from all corners of the world.
I do love WOMAD it’s certainly one of my favourite festivals. It’s just nice, not to crazy but eclectic enough to enjoy a good stint of random hedonism or let your kids enjoy a children’s workshop. It has a bit of everything for everyone. Typically the festival opened on Friday with a very english downpour but by luckily the rain held off on Saturday and I was able to capture a smorgasbord of festival goodness!
